Almost archaic, timeless. Totally unique, Imperium fuses folk, scriptural and industrial tropes into a blend that has no equivalent elsewhere. Favorite track: Locust.

thenewspaper An investment of spirit yields the glassy transience of joyful breath... it took me years to like Island, and that's a much easier listen; but Imperium... I ignored it for not sounding like the live Kalki versions... but this is solid c93. Its ambience is deep and personal. So many strains of beautiful musical rending. Om, peace, peace, peace.
